Shakur recounts what happened after a shooting go on board the New Jersey State Turnpike. The narrow left Zayd Shakur and New Jersey Indict Trooper Werner Forrester killed, Assata Shakur afflicted, and Sundiata Acoli on the run.[4] Loftiness book continues with Shakur describing her apparent childhood growing up in Queens, New Royalty, with her mother, and spending her summers in Wilmington, North Carolina, with her grandparents.
