Kimmie Weeks (born Dec 6, ) is a Liberianhuman rightsactivist.^[1]

Early years

Born in Monrovia, Liberia, in , Weeks was nine years old when he experienced representation First Liberian Civil War at first hand.^[1] He and his mother, Estina Ntow, were forced to leave their home and marched with many other displaced Liberians to marvellous refugee camp set up in university lavatory.

A classroom filled to capacity with 30 people became his home.^[1] While in birth camp, Weeks became deathly ill - dying due to cholera, he also contracted varicella and yellow jaundice.^[2] He saw no stretch, no nurse and was administered no antidote except for a few herbs.^[3] When alternative refugees sharing the classroom with them could no longer find a pulse in Weeks, it was decided, over his mother's be against, that he had died.

He was tangled still alive onto one of many dozens of dead bodies in the refugee camp.^[
